Komperdell Ballistic Junior Safety Vest

The Komperdell Ballistic Flex safety vest is the approved model of extra-light construction for children that offers 100% freedom of movement and comfort, guaranteeing protection to avoid serious injuries, it offers almost complete protection thanks to materials with intelligent technology.

It is a multi-layer vest made of dual-density adaptive foam, approved EN 1621-2 level 1. These foams are called Termofit because they soften their density with body temperature, adapting to the curves of the body. It is combined with a thermoadhesive material that offers a "tailor-made" fit. Thanks to the multi-layer construction, an extremely flexible protection system has been developed, as it has thermoelastic foams that modify its shape, adapting to the rider's body in just a few minutes, the vest adjusts providing unmatched comfort.

The second main feature is the breathability, thanks to the laser perforation, it is extremely breathable. The exterior is made of light, elastic and breathable fabrics. Thus, the soft and flexible protection is immediately felt when trying the vest. The design is reduced to the essentials, although it is 25mm thick, it is not bulky so it can be worn under a jacket.

It is worth highlighting the automatic width adjustment system since thanks to a special lamination technique and intelligent flexible zones, the width of the vest adapts automatically. The front and rear foams are joined laterally by an elastic band, this allows lateral flexibility and automatically adjusts the width when closing the vest. They fit perfectly true to size so they are suitable for most body shapes.

Washing tips

Hand washable, hang on a hanger to dry in the sun, do not tumble dry.

The fact that this product is intended for motorcycle riding does not prevent its use for horse riding, but it cannot replace a protective vest that complies with the EN 13158:2018 standard corresponding to the practice of equestrian sports.
