The use of a curb chain limits the range of action by limiting the pressure on the nape of the neck and acting on the lower jaw, turning it into a kind of bit due to the additional action of the chain. The jointed cannons exerts pressure on the bars and the tongue which, thanks to the round and elongated central piece, distributes the pressure better to achieve more effective communication.
