Therapeutic Boots of Hot&cold Gel Compression

Pack of two therapy protectors with hot or cold gel with manual inflation control for compressive effect, specially designed for horses with multiple benefits for circulation and the reduction of inflammatory processes to strengthen tendons.

Benefits of cold

The combination of the frozen gel and the adjustable pressure with the inflation pump are very effective in improving fluid circulation, eliminating tissue inflammation and consequently strengthening the horse's tendons. Especially recommended for use after work on sport horses or daily therapy for injuries.

Benefits of heat

Heat is beneficial to combat stiff and painful ligaments, especially recommended in senior horses, with arthritis or muscle ailments.

Compression acts effectively combined with cold therapy, improving traumas and injuries in horses, becoming an excellent daily therapy.

COLD THERAPY INSTRUCTIONS

1.- Put the gel-pack in the freezer overnight or for at least 3 hours. The gel will remain flexible.

2.- Put the cold gel-pack in the pockets of the protector and close with the velcro. The gel-pack tab should be facing down.

3.- Put the protector around the horse's feet and fasten with the velcro, well adjusted.

4.- The optional pressure is created with the hand pump. Introduce the pressure little by little, with 20 times, approximately, it is enough.

5.- We can increase or decrease the pressure in time intervals of our choice, creating an intermittent compression.

6.- Leave the protectors on for a period of 20 to 35 minutes for a better result.

7.- Before removing the protectors, open the pump so that the air escapes.

8.- Unfasten the velcro to remove the protector.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR HEAT THERAPY

1.- Put the gel pack in the microwave one by one. Care must be taken, as the power of microwaves varies from one to another. About 45 seconds at the highest power is usually enough.

2.- Put the gel pack in the pocket and close the velcro. Gel-pack tab down. Then continue from step 3 of cold therapy.

GUARD MAINTENANCE

1. Occasionally clean the gel packs with a damp cloth. Do not use sharp or rough instruments.

2. Clean the protector with soap and water. Clear out. Hang to dry, do not use a dryer.
