Mud fever is caused by repetitive humectation of the distal extremity, along with contamination and abrasion by mud, or more commonly the sandy surfaces on which horses train. EQUIZAL is a natural protective cream that softens and moisturizes. Enriched with beeswax, tea tree, zinc and lanolin. It is especially suitable for external application to horses with mud or rain eruption in humid conditions; or horses working on abrasive or sandy surfaces.
