Feeding Recommendations:

To compensate for electrolyte losses caused by excessive sweating:

  • Large horses (600 kg): 50–100 g daily

  • Small horses: 30–60 g daily

  • Recommended feeding period: 1 to 3 days

To stabilise water and electrolyte balance during or after digestive disorders (diarrhoea):

  • Foals: 50–100 g daily

  • Recommended feeding period: 1 to 7 days (1–3 days when given as a single course)
