The Kentucky Correction Impact Half Pad 18 mm is designed to improve saddle fit and balance, while providing excellent shock absorption to protect the horse’s back and enhance rider comfort. It is especially useful for young horses or horses whose musculature changes frequently, as it allows continuous adjustment of saddle positioning as the horse’s shape evolves.

Thanks to its system of interchangeable felt inserts, the half pad can be precisely adapted to the horse’s needs, promoting optimal saddle fit and relieving pressure on the back. The combination of 18 mm memory foam, 3D Spacer material, and felt layers effectively absorbs impacts during riding, allowing greater freedom of movement and offering a more stable and ergonomic experience for the rider. Its advanced construction also makes it 20–30% lighter than most correction pads available on the market, improving communication between horse and rider thanks to closer contact and better saddle stability.
The pad features three pockets on each side, filled with felt layers of different thicknesses that can be combined to achieve corrections from 2 mm up to 9 mm. The 3D Spacer material also ensures excellent ventilation, preventing overheating of the horse’s back. The artificial leather wither relief reduces pressure along the spine, while the silicone grip pattern helps keep the pad securely in place during riding.
For maintenance, simply remove the felt inserts and machine wash the pad at 30 °C.
