The Soft Touch Foam Sponge Loose Ring Bit by HG has a thick layer of soft, semi-porous foam molded around the nylon core, and foam-lined bit guards to prevent pinching.
Originally designed for horses with very sensitive mouths, this bit is also useful for horses that have suffered mouth injuries as part of the rehabilitation process.
The loose rings attach directly to the nylon centre strap, resulting in a mild direct action when rein pressure is applied.
The delicate nature of the foam material can mean that if chewed by the horse it may result in damage to the mouthpiece or in extreme cases breakage. We are unable to offer any guarantee on these bits.
